M.H.- Oh, we were at home that day, it was on a Sunday. We were at home that day, right. In the wintertime, December 7th, '41.

J- How did people feel about it?

M.H.- Terrible, terrible, it was a crushing time to think they'd wiped us out all in one lick. Yeah.
