CA: How did your family react when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor?

JH: I can remember, they used to have, that mom used to train us. Used to have raids, assimilated raids, and we would have to cover up the windows at night. That is what i remember most about that.

CA: How did the people act?

JH: I remember that they were incidents where people would go into stores and throw articles made by the Japanese on the floor and break them.
