The Bland County History Archives maintains databases on its oral history interview transcript collection, its scanned photo collection, and its cemetery catalog collection. These databases have been created in the File Maker Pro software, you can search and browse our collections.

The online databases have been down for several years, but as of the summer of 2005 they are back up. Much information needs to be added, especially to the photo database, but search and enjoy. We will be adding keywords to the transcripts, and hopefully more info on the photos.

Becca Yokum, coordinator of the Jackson Davis Project at the Special Collections of the Library of the University of Virginia, was kind enough, many years ago, to lend her expertise to the Bland County History Archives in this endeavor.
